FLX Local Media acquired Finger Lakes Daily News in January 2026 with strong editorial momentum but minimal technical SEO infrastructure. Huckabuy was brought in to design and lead the technical strategy across structured data, indexing, page speed, and monitoring.
The objective was to build durable SEO systems that could scale at newsroom speed: strong indexing controls, complete structured data coverage, reliable Core Web Vitals, and operational resilience under sudden demand spikes.
